SoCal charity event to showcase ICON Ford Broncos, auction off private tour of Petersen Auto Museum.
If you’ve ever dreamed of getting a private, curator-led tour of Los Angeles’ famous Petersen Automotive Museum for you and your truck enthusiast friends, now’s your chance! It’s just one of the exciting items up for auction at the fourth annual “Cars & Casino” charity event happening May 13 in Southern California. Hosted by one of our fave custom builders, ICON, from 7-11 p.m., at their workshop in Chatsworth, California, the evening of cars, casino, food and cocktails benefits GO Campaign, a Los Angeles charity that helps underprivileged kids worldwide.

Event host Jonathan Ward‘s famous ICON Ford Broncos, Toyota Land Cruisers and Derelict vehicles will be on display, as well as handmade vehicles from Emory Motorsports, Singer Vehicle Design, Z-Electric Motors, East Coast Defender, Petersen Automotive Museum and Fusion Motor Company. Featured food and drink includes Lobsta Truck, The Macallan scotch, Hand-Brewed Beer, Scribe Winery, and Luc Belaire champagne. Auction items, which can be viewed online, include a private tour of the Petersen, a set of high-performance BFGoodrich tires and even a rare Fender limited-edition Telecaster. And, of course, there will be plenty of classic casino table games.
Ward says the concept for ICON was born in response to the direction he had seen the collector market heading toward. “As demands and expectations on classic cars grew, so did the desire for modern performance married to classic styling,” explains Ward. “I not only took note, I took action,” he adds about ICON’s custom Ford Broncos, which are assembled by hand in California using all-original stock Ford steel bodies.
“The actualized results of a strong commitment to tradition, obsession with modern design, and unrelenting need to achieve performance excellence is what today is known as the ICON,” says Ward. “This vehicle without peers is built for a journey without boundaries.”
