Ecoboost F-150 Evaporates Tires with Huge Burnout

It’d be easy to think that the higher horsepower of the 5.0 would be better suited to turning tires into billowing clouds of white smoke. As this video proves, the EcoBoost is second to none. In fact, the turbocharged V6 is actually more torquey than the V8. The only engine in the F-150 line up that’s more powerful is the 6.2L in the Raptor.

I don’t have anything against the 5L V8 mind you, but burnout ability is an important factor when choosing a car or truck. It’s right up there with exhaust decibels and “sweet jump” resilience.
