Like the rest of the F-150 lineup for the 2015 model year, the F-150 Lariat will undergo some changes from years past. In a previous article, we addressed the changes Ford has in store for the exterior of the 2015 F-150 Lariat. Let’s take a look at some of the standard features you’ll find inside.

Standard Electronics Package Gets Upgrade

From security systems to entertainment, the electronics in the 2015 Lariat get an upgrade. You’ll get the Advanced Security Package that includes the Passive Anti-Theft System and Inclination/intrusion sensors. The sideview mirrors both have a power-folding feature and the driver side mirror is heated and has an auto-dimming feature. Parallel parking in a truck can be tough at times, but the standard rearview camera makes it much easier.

Other electronic goodies include the controls contained in the black leather-wrapped steering wheel. Intelligent Access with push-button start is also standard on the Lariat, as are power adjustable pedals with memory and a power-sliding rear window with defroster and privacy glass. The Lariat for 2015 is also equipped with BLIS, the Blind Spot Information System and Cross-Traffic Alert safety systems.

The Lariat is the first of the 2015 F-150s to get the eight inch dash instrumentation in both the center stack and the driver’s console. The SYNC with MyFord Touch system has voice controls and dual-zone climate control. The driver productivity screen is an eight inch display in the instrument cluster that is fully programmable and can display several data points at once. The audio system is upgraded to a media hub with two USB ports, an audio input jack, and an SD card reader.
