New Features Turn 2020 Roush F-150 Into an All-Terrain Thrashing Rig
With a host of upgrades, aggressive 2020 Roush F-150 elevates off-road trucking to new heights with performance and durability.
Roush Performance has long had a reputation for taking Ford pickups and turning them into savage performance-built muscle trucks. Their 650 hp 2019 Nitemare F-150 build holds the distinction for being the world’s fastest production truck. But Roush is clearly not content to rest on their laurels. They have introduced an all-new 2020 Roush Ford F-150; a brawny, off-road capable truck with high-caliber performance.
“The 2020 Roush F-150 is the perfect dual-purpose pickup,” says Jack Roush Jr. “Our team worked hard to strike the perfect balance between off-road style and performance, and we’ve accomplished that with the 2020 F-150.”
Roush’s F-150 has a Rough/Fox 2.0 off-road suspension system and lift. Roush torture tested the system to ensure it can handle all manner of harsh challenges. Underneath, the 2020 Roush F-150 features a dual tip performance exhaust system for more power, torque, and a decidedly aggressive tone.
Standard features on the F-150 is Roush Dual Tip Cat-Back Performance Exhaust system. The pickup has optional upgrades, including the Roush Dual Tip Active Exhaust system, Premium Leather Package, Off-Road Utility Kit, Console Vault safe, or one of several new customizable graphics packages.
It rides tough and in style with new satin black 20-inch Roush wheels featuring a split six-spoke design with a stepped lip wrapped in 33-inch General Grabber A/TX LT305/55R20 all-terrain tires, as well as integrated “R” Puddle Lamps, which display the Roush logo on the ground whenever the doors are open. How cool is that?
Other options that allow you to get down and dirty include a Baja-inspired Chase Rack with dual 10-inch Rigid SR-Series light bars, and Retractable Aluminum Bed Cover–which conveniently opens and closes with the flip of a latch.
While it is all tough on the outside, the inside offers exceptional comfort and many amenities. Roush badging on the seats give it some extra heat.
The standard bespoke grille is a real stand out. It features signature lighting, and looks both sleek and menacing. Also impressive is the front cover, fender flares (with integrated accent lighting), and fender badges and graphics package.
Overall, Roush has delivered another badass Ford truck with ashpalt-kicking performance. Now, we just want to get in and kick up some dirt, hit the trails, and char a little pavement. The 2020 Roush F-150 is now available to order at all authorized dealers.
