I have found only one drawback to my truck thus far...it loves gas! This seems to be a common concern among new F-150 owners. I am maintaining this fuel usage log for the benefit of those that wish to compare their fuel economy to mine. My setup is the 5.4 L v8 (4x2, 3.55) The one saving grace is that it runs just fine on 87 octane. It is important to note that the truck has made two long highway trips, with the approximate dates noted below.
