what i did to replace my rotors

The old rotor

take off the bolts with a 18mm socket....An extension would be helpful because of the brake lines get in the way

once you get the caliper off the rotor should be able to just slide right off....note: I had to pretty much pry the caliper off of the rotor because it was worn down so much and it had a lip on the edge of the rotor.

spray your new rotors with some brake kleen before you put them on

this is what it looks like before you compress the pistons. there is no way the rotor will fit in that. the pad on the left has to be pretty much flush with the metal.

once the brake is compressed and the brake pads are in put on the new rotor

compress the pistons with a "c" clamp.

put the bolts back in and then drink a beer for a job well done.... once you put the tire back on it follow the instructions that the rotor manufacturer gives you. oh yeah also you should pump your brakes a couple times before you drive it.
