Power Stop Drilled and Slotted Rotors Installed
Truck has almost 50k miles, have had warped rotors since about 25k miles. Finally decided to fix the problem and ordered the Power Stop Drilled and Slotted rotors with the truck/tow pads. Im very impressed with this set.. The truck has never stopped this well!
Got them from rockauto with the pads and shipped for $202, i feel like i got a great deal.
My OEM pads still had alot of life left on them.. Id say they were still 70 or so percent, so i know its not my driving style as to the warped rotors. I think i could have easily got 100k out of the original pads. Rotors are a different story though.
Here are the Pads that came off.
and the junk rotors
and finally the New Rotors and Pads
I did the break in procedure and by the end the truck was stopping even better, cant wait to put more miles on them and start towing again.

Yea, know what you mean with the warped rotors. Looks like a good set up. At about 33,000 miles I replaced my front rotors because of the good ole hippy hippy shake. I tow my Polaris Ranger to my place in West Virginia. So I encounter a few mountains along the way. But I think what really did them in, my place is on a mountain top. When I'm descending back down and out, even in Low, I need to be on the brakes to keep here at a crawl. So I think I'm about ready to give this a shot as well. Been thinking about it for a while.
