I believe it's also 150 ftlbs for my 2014 F150 with 20" wheels.

I think it's been 150ftlbs on all F150s since they went to 14mm studs in 2000

 

It is pretty sad when a dealership service dept can't properly torque wheels. That's a good way to warp the rotors too.

 

Thx, I was being lazy...in the manual at 150#. 2016 XLT. I did go buy the Torque Sticks from Harbor Freight to make the job easier!

 

I don't care what anyone says, I do not trust torque sticks.

 

Even back when I worked at a 'real gas station" in the 70's......the owner made us show him we could feel the correct torque using a star wrench....he would have killed us if we even thought about using a pneumatic!!!!! Going back to when I was "little" my dad had me soo well trained I could then and still to this day, torque lugs to 90lbs on our cars with a star wrench......my neighbor insisted I couldn't be possibly right....so he pulled out my tq wrench....each not on each wheel was within 2 lbs of 90 lbs......

IMHO, it is simple unconscionable to rely on any "gimmick type tool" such as torque sticks, etc. when in the same amount of time, you can do it right the 1st time...with a tq wrench

 

AGREED! I think I've said it two or three times in the thread already

 

X3. Torque sticks are only for those that are too STUPID or too LAZY to use a torque wrench.
