305/55/20 on my 2010 F150 Lariat

I just yesterday put on BF GOODRICH all terrains on my 2010 f150 lariat. I have the 5.4l v8 It is a bit more sluggish Im worried about how this will wear on my tranny over time. Also I need to recalibrate my speedometer can you get this done anywhere? This is the first time I've put on bigger tires what else do I need to worry about or change?

After having transmission issues with my 2004 truck, I was afraid to put 33s on my 2007 after I bought it. I whooped on my 2004 a little bit though, and the original owner towed with it. But my 2007 truck is great and I am running 34s on it now and it is perfectly fine. Transmission strain is all about how the truck was cared for. Non serviced trans is worse off than a serviced one. If a transmission slips and fails, the damage has already been done and its just how it is. Slightly heavier tires will accelerate the wear, but if the transmission is healthy and not neglected, and most importantly, you are custom tuned to run properly with the tire size recalibrated, the truck will be 100% fine. Just a small gas mileage hit.
