Question Factory wheels

Hello everybody,
This is my first post so I apologize if this subject was covered before. I just bought a 99 F-150 XLT 4.6L and I'm looking to replace the factory 16 in. wheels with a newer factory wheel. Is there a 18 in. wheel that'll fit my truck? Are all the 5 lug wheels 5x135?
Also, How can I lower the truck just a tad, not like a lowrider but more like the SVT. I'm aiming for the sporty look, between the bigger wheels, lower tires and body.
Thanks all,
C.D.

The only factory 18 inch wheels for the 97-03 F-150's are the Lightning wheels. If you want a factory wheel, I'd go with the 20 inch Harley wheels (or replicas) or one of the 20 inch Lightning replica wheels. Also, all 97-03's use the 5x135mm bolt pattern.

Thanks for the info,
Looking around in wheel and tire shops for used wheels I noticed how much money they want for a set. I was hoping to get them from somebody that upgraded to aftermarket, and was trying to get rid of them cheap. Either way, looks like I'm going to be spending some money!
Thanks again.

Try the classified section here at F150 Online.
I just did a keywork search for Wheel with the catageory of Lightning assy for sale, and found 4 listings.
1 was a Gen I, so no good ( I think that is the case )
The others :
- Set of 4 Lightning Rims off a 2000 L 18" x 9.5" : 395.00

- 4 STOCK LIGHTNING WHEELS AND 4 GOODYEAR 295-45-18 TIRES: 400.00 with the skins ( some tread left, but might not be the correct size skin for you liking )

- BOSS 301 20" wheel and Falken STZ04 tire package for $850 or Make Offer ( maybe offer to buy the wheels alone, and have him sell the skins ?

Then on to a search for wheel within the Accessories For Sale (1997 - 2003) category :
9 posts there.
Sizes from 17" to 24" aftermarket ( one has a 450.00 firm on a set of L replicas, funny can get the real thing for 395.00 above ).

Just a thought to try....
