I am thinking of getting these in a 35x12.5x18 and was wondering if anyone can tell me how they are on pavement. I don't do much off roading, but it is tough to find a that size tire in an all terrain.
I was wondering if they are exceptionally loud and what kind of tread life I can expect.

Really, I think they are too new to get an accurate estimate on tread life. I read a review on them that was pretty favorable.

i know its been a few days since the post, but I've got the same size tire you are wanting to get. like wandell said i havent had them long enough to get any wear (a few months) they are actually not very loud on pavement for a mud tire. Overall I like them , get alot of compliments on them too.

as long as you keep the stt's rotated and balanced, their road noise is pretty good.

if you let the front get worn out (i have had 3 sets of them on various fords w/ the ttb front end) they get noisy.

cooper's are great tires, and i don't buy anything else

as for tread life - in my experience 40,000 puts them it into the last 20% of tread. my last set of stt's were 35's. i rant hem about 58,000 and they were a little too worn for my liking when replacing them.
