I've got 2000 L wheels on my 2WD Expy, fit just fine.
I run 285/60R18 Bridgestone Dueler H/Ps, great street tire with a good ride. Good wet traction also.
I have tons of traction and it's tough to break them loose and I've got a blower...but my truck weighs 6,000 lb. so that probably has a lot to do with it...
