Question Removing piston from below, 4.6L?

4.6L engine in '98 F150; Is it possible to remove a piston from the bottom without removing the crankshaft?

This is just my spare truck while I rebuild the trany in my F350 so I don't want to spend too much $ as I will sell it once I get my F350 back on the road.

Any idea if the piston will slide by the crank & block?

Thanks

A complete piston can only be removed from the top. Seen a lot of pistons come out through the bottom but they were all in little tiny pieces..

As dyno said above. Only way its coming out other than the top of the bore is if you scatter it or window the block through the side! Lol
