Hey,
I just bought a new egr tube, to replace my old one cause it was pretty rigged up, and cause a leak. Anyway, I bought the new one from trademotion.com. The new one is about 3/4 in diameter, and the old one is about 3/8 in diameter.

Will this screw anything else up?

Did I get sent the wrong one?

They had 3 options, 4.2L, 4.6L, and 5.4L, I have the 4.6, could I have gotten one for one of the other engines?

Please help!

 

Yes, you could have; or you could have gotten an older/newer design than your engine needs. Does it look like it's the same shape? Are the fittings the right size? What year is your truck?

 

Yeah, it looks all the same. It might not be as big as 3/4, but its noticeably bigger. I have a 97 150 supercab with the 4.6. I emailed the company, and asked them, hopefully they have a good answer. I wanted to put it on this weekend, maybe not...
