Simple 4.6 swap?

I'm short on time to get a reply, sorry for no time to research the threads. I have a 2000 4.6 with a broken exhaust stud. The whole engine is extremely rusted. I have found a 2003 with all accessories included but they say it is only interchangeable from 2001-2003. It would be nice to get more power as others are trying but I'm looking for the least troubles. What are the things that won't bolt up? Thanks in advance for help.

Too Late

Could have gotten a low mileage '03 F150 4.6 Windsor with all accessories for $800 but didn't know if I needed donor computer or what other problems I may have encountered. Oh Well!!

The only difference between the 03 engine controls and 00 4.6 that I know of is the IMRC valve. Your 00 has one and the 03 doesn't. Ford introduced the Pi head to the 4.6 in 01 and dropped the IMRC valve. You should use your 00 engine harness and plug it into the 03 sensors. If the connectors don't fit use the 00 sensors. If you are looking at upgrading to a newer 4.6 why not get a 5.4?

Everything will go right in just fine as JMC said, and you'll keep your wiring harness and computer. You will, however, need a tune for it to run properly.
