Hey guys, recently i purchased an 05 fx4 with 82,000 miles. It will start up and run fine but After its warm ill turn the truck off for 5 minute come back to it and after i start it up and put it in reverse it will start shaking real bad. even after i throw it in park or drive it wont stop till untill i cut it off. Once i turn it back on it will go into gear fine and wont have a problem with it. It does this once or twice a day. Is the tranny going out?

 

If it's shaking in Park, it has nothing to do with the transmission.

Sounds like a misfire to me.
