2007 STX f150 4.6L 3rd trans nothing aftermarket.
Hi all,
ok so I had my Trans go out, and replaced it. now that I had it replaced it keeps throwing the P0960, & P0748codes. had it to two separate shops and no one can find out why.
issues checked: 1.traced all wires from PCM to Trans.all checked out ok,
2. removed and tested solenoids, and internal harness, all ok.
3. last shop replaced PCM and reprogrammed the comp.
the issue seems electrical because when i drive it it, intermittently corrects itself "once or twice in a year of issue", for a very short time interval.maybe a mile or 2.
this truck looks and runs fantastic other than this issue. i do not want to junk this but i cant afford to keep putting it in a shop. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!

 

You have a wiring issued between the PCM and the trans.

When you say you traced the wires, exactly what did you do? Did you check each one for continuity? These codes say you have an open electrical circuit between the pressure control solenoid and the PCM.
