Angry Torque converter locking and killing engine at stops

New exhaust manifolds and exhaust all the way back , new plugs ,wires and coils. Tried to drive it home and converter seems to stayed locked when coming to a stop and stalls engine. Then replaced torque converter and TCC solenoid , no change . Ready to sell already and just bought it 2 weeks ago. 1997 F150 4x4 , 4.6L

Moved thread to transmission section, hopefully you'll get more traffic in here.

I'd recommend finding an electrical schematic as well as a hydraulic schematic and see what controls the TCC. Once you know how it's supposed to work, you should be able to diagnose it properly.

If that is actually what is happening, it could be electrical or could be in the valve body.

Leaning toward electrical. Likely a short. Again if that is what is happening.
