the overdrive off light is blinking, and when i started to drive it it kind of hopped leaving from a stop and will not shift out of first gear. has anyone had this problem before? it is most definitly not driveable right now. im really getting sick of spending every single day off working on my truck. what happened to the good fords im losing my faith in them. its only got 106000 miles on it and the fluid was recently flushed not even 5000 miles ago. the old fluid looked pretty clean as well. so im kind of in the lost. it pulled up a code for the torque converter and a code for something else i dont even remember what it was now.

 

it ended up being a fuse. thank god.

 

how did you trouble shoot it?

 

well the tranny was workin absolutely fine the day before so it didnt seem right at all. and i know the service manager at ford called him and he told me to check the fuse just to make sure. that is such a big relief you just dont even know

 

what fuse did you check?

 

it was one of them in the power distribution box under the hood. it just got a little dirt in it. that was the weirdest thing though i was gettin ready to just sell the truck
