2006 F150 4x4 Suspension Questions...
Please read in entirety before responding...
I currently own a 2006 F150 XL single cab 4x4 with the heavy duty towing package. I am nearly positive this truck has had some sort of suspension lift modification due to its height but despite several hours of research, I'm still twiddling my thumbs without a definitive answer. Here are the details...
The truck currently has a set of Toyo A/T 285/55R20 tires (great tires by the way). For all intents and purposes, the tire measures approximately 32.3" in height according to the tire size calculator but measurement off the dirt is closer to 31.5" at 45 PSI.
On the Rear
The measurement from the top of the tire to base of the fender well is over 9.5". Does that seem a bit excessive for a factory suspension? I thought so so thus I began digging. From what I can tell, the factory leaf spring block in my model/year truck should be 1" BUT the current block in there is 2". The shackles look factory as do the leaf springs (three slats in total), and I can still see OEM Ford stickers on the rear shocks. Can anyone confirm or deny the factory leaf spring block size for my model/year truck? Pics below...
On the Front
My guess is there is a (approximately) 1" spacer above the strut but I haven't bothered disassembling it to verify. Can anyone look at this image and state it doesn't look like this factory? Pics below...
Thanks for the input. I'm just trying to verify this before figuring out what suspension components I actually need to achieve my desired truck height. Cheers.

Rear looks exactly ..... almost .... like my '07 did before I lowered it. Same springs, 2" blocks.
I think yours has a spacer or "leveling" kit in it up front. It's a ratio deal, I found that when I took 1-5/16" out of mine, it lowered it just about 2" so a leveling kit to raise the truck 2" would only have to space the upper mount about the same 1-5/16" down.
