6 in fabtech with dirt logic

Ok so last weekend i bought a used fabtech lift with the dirtlogic's, removed it from the one truck installed it on mine put hers back to stock. great ok luckily it all fit...

first issue was the rear ebrake cable was rubbing on the tire, no problem put in a 3/8 wheel spacer took care of that! second problem the sway bar is rubbing on the strut bar things that go from the dropped brackets to the rear cross member still have to fix that i guess we mounted the strut bars to high? i really don't know but it makes an awesome screech when i hit big dips! and my last thing..... the spring on the dirt logic rubs on the shock body..? anyone have this problem and how they heec would i go about fixing that?

i really cant see anything messed up about it but the spring is def not straight it kinda bows and at the bow it touches the shock. my camera is charging ill get a picture in a few min

thanks, JOSH

ya i went through that.. the brackets need to be installed way different then the instructions lead you to believe otherwise it will hit the front drive shaft. i think we ended up installing them on opposite sides and flipped around or something. and ya i think i mounted the strut bars to high... the instructions say to put the bars on and then the sway bar if i remember right but as a side note they say.. mount the bars on the lower side of the cross member, now i know what they meant. well you should install the sway bar and then put the strut bars on so you can mount them in a location that would clear the sway bar better. so i uh... "clearanced" the sway bar some.. in order to lower the strut bars the new mount location would have been to close to the previously drilled holes so i thought it may hurt its mounting location durability. so in any event... all the issues except the springs rubbing on the shocks have been resolved. yay!!

thanks JOSH

are the dirt logics not really quality shocks? i mean the truck i got the kit off of only had 13k miles... i mean i guess if the shock was damaged inside the piston could be crooked and cause the spring to not sit flat... maybe....... ? but they seem to dampen fine.. waaaay better then stock!!

Not that its a big deal but i thought id just say that fabtech was great to work with... i called them up explained the coils rubbing and they sent me new springs free! i just installed them tonight and they fixed the issue! so far fabtech has hooked it up!
