Talking 04 2wd Blck SuperCrew 4.6L Lifting Ideas?

I have had this truck for a year now only put tint and a true dual Magnaflow str8 pipe on it and am at a plateu. I have an 04 GSXR 750 and an 03 Mustang Cobra and I have finally come around to doing something to the truck. I am a previous Superduty owner. 03 250 had 8' fabtech on 37's with 18'wheels sold it. I only know what I have seen when it comes to the F-150's any ideas on Getting this puppy in the sky and doing it safely and with durable products can you please steer me in the right direction once I build up some knowledge of the possibilities I will work the magic very quickly. I also want to know what Round Fog light bumpers will fit on it i have the no light chromie. And i've heard brakes warp easily after wheel exchange and lift and reccomendations? All Ideas will be greatly appreciated ... SHoOt AwAY..... Here are a few Pics More in my Album.....

I'd suggest the 6 inch Fabtech lift and some 35's on 18 or 20 inch wheels.

I am definetly thinking some 18's or 19.'s and Pro Comp XTerrains and if they won't fit 19's then I will get 20's and nittos. I just don't think 6" will be enough it will just be another above some 33's I would like it to be able to fit 38's but ride with 36's or 37's is it possible on these and is 6" the biggest fabtech has for this year don't they do a 7.5 for the 03 they should do one for the 04's. What would be the biggest reliable lift and with that is it ok to do a 3" body lift. I'm an Iraq Veteran and a Former US Marine My Trucks gotta ride high.

I'd go with the 8" Rize if you want to go that big.

They don't have a Rize kit for 2wd they have a really nice 12" for the 4x4 which I would love to have from them.

I have the same truck you do and I think that with the 6" Fabtech w/coilovers and a 3" BL you could fit and ride around with 37s. The coilovers can crank the lift up a couple extra inches so that should clear the tires. I may be wrong though you might want to get other opinions too...

Right. Fabtech only makes a 6 inch lift for the 04-08 4x2's. You can get another 2 inches out of their lift if you add a leveling kit with it or upgrade to their Dirt Logic coilover (the better option) and crank the preload up on them. Also, you can add a 3 inch PA body lift with the Fabtech. If you did all of this you could get 11 inches of lift easily.

Nevermind. I missed the part about it being 2wd. Who is it that makes the 7.5" lift for the 2wd? I thought it was Fabtech?

I suggest buying some chrome 23" Saleen rims and 305-45-23r tires off ebay. Droping it 2" in the front and 3" in the rear with a Eibach Lowering Kit. Take that white pin-stripe off and your set.

I'd get a stage 2 Fabtech with coilovers and do a 3" body lift.

Then I'd sell that suzuki and get a kawi, I ride an '05 636. Best bike EVER MADE.

Fabtech did, for the 97-03 4x2's. They only make the 6 inch for the 04-08's.

OK i Like this idea but the leveling kit consists of a spacer that goes above the coil overs in the front correct a 2.5in rise. which would make the front higher then the rear in the end. With that the 6 in suspension and a 3 in BL with gap guards of course. Would that be at all Safe and How would that ride be bumpy maybe?????

aside from that what is this 12" BulletProof Lift Kit it is sold as a kit yet says it requires purchase of Leafs and Shocks... Are these any good at all??

Stand up looks ok 2nd Gear you should Be Cruisin round 40mph not 60-70 without even using the brake.... I rode for Adrenalin Crew for a few years I'm a Street Rider screw the parking lot... I haven't rode in 10 months but ummmmmm Suzuki is the greatest ever made if i felt like it i would put a pic of the pretty little R in GSXR on here thats tattooed on my left forearm... and having a bike from day 1 it was released 0 miles beating the crap out of it wrecking it over 40 times 4 on the street at high speeds with a cage on it for 4 years and it still works thats a bike lol....

The leveling kits are available in different heights. Don't go over 2.5 inches or the angles of your ball joints will be too extreme to last. Of course, if you add a leveling kit, you will want to add lift to the rear to match. The leveling kits, like the Autospring kit, are just a metal spacer that bolts on top of the coilover shock assembly. It will not affect your ride quality.
As for the Bulletproof lift, I don't have any experience with them.
