i didnt know were to post this so anyone any thoughts? i was on my way to work earlier and i heard what sounded like a grinding metal clicking noisewich seemed to come from the front of the truck. it lasted about 2 or 3 sec. i continued going down the road and about a mile 1/2 later it did it again so i pulled over and looked under the truck and hood but i didnt see anything.i made it the rest of the way to work wich is about 16 miles with no noise. i had my rancho lift put on for about a month now and i put my 35s on 2 weeks ago could this have anything to do with it???

sounds like an IWE. the next time you hear it, try clicking into 4WD and see if it goes away right then. you may have a slight leak on one of the vacuum lines, or your solenoid could be going bad. but, if you cant get it fixed right away, then i would drive it in 4WD until you can, so you dont destroy a hub because of it.
