Cranks slowly when hot
Maybe one of you has had this problem
My 1988 5.0L F150 starts just fine when the engine is cold. When it's been driven for 30 minutes or so, it cranks like the engine is seized. I wait a while and it cranks up normally.
I replaced the positive and negative cables with AWG 2 and did what I'm sure is a good job matching the OE cables with body grounds, etc. I replaced the starter. The engine uses no oil and runs good. I replaced the computer and the ignition module about a year ago.
Here's the part that has me flabbergasted:
Often, when it cranks slow, I can tilt the steering wheel down and it starts normally.
Any ideas?
