front wheel bearing torque

I'm changing front wheel bearings on a 1994 f150 4x4 and I am trying to find out how much torque to put on the spindle nut preloading the bearings or should they be backed off with no preload?

This describes all 3 styles of nut.

For more info, click the black Bronco below & look in the Brakes & Hubs album.
