Unhappy Clanking noise from driveline...

I notice that whenever I turn at even moderate speeds right or left, I can hear a very noticeable clanking noise from somewhere in my driveline. It sounds like it's coming from my rear differential, but I'm not 100% on that. But it feels like something's popping and shakes the vehicle as if I was hitting a curb when I turn. Any ideas? Thanks.

TF,
Check the U-joints. Also, if the ball joints in the front end are worn out it can cause a similar feeling that you are describing.
