Lost radio?

Had to replace passenger fender( darn deer). Know the radio has a lot of static and some stations don't even come in all. I made sure it has a good connection at the antenna. Any other ideas?

Maybe the cable got skinned when the deer ran into you and is grounding.

The cable or the base of the antenna is grounding out on metal.
