JP, haven't really givin much to thought, but probably somewhere around $300 + the headlights and HID kit. Turn-around would probably be around 1 1/2 weeks as long as work doesn't interfere.

Something to think about.. Can't wait to see some pics!!

Where do you live Thomas??

ok, how hard was this to do? I have been contemplating selling my HD heads and doing this except going with the black on the inside of the lightnings.

JP,
On a scale of 1 to 10, i'd probably give it an 8. its not really hard, just a bit time consuming. But if you dont mind cutting into your truck, most anyone who has the skills and tools to install a lift kit and a stereo system should be able to the retrofit.

More How-to info added

Well here we go with the pictures...

Stock headlights and Silver-stars. Low beams first, hi beams 2nd:

Hid Projectors w/ the truck in the same spot. tree = 25' away, building = 50' away:
Again. low beam first, high beam 2nd.

Now i've got these showing the cut-off line and the high beam as well.. Building is now 25'. Cutoff line is aimed 3" below center point of projector.

Some exterior shots of the low beams.. I couldn't get a high-beam shot as its to damn bright to stand infront of, even 50 feet away.

If anyone is interested, i think i'll offer retrofits for anyone interested. $200 for labor and you all supply the lights and TRS HID kit. Turn around should be about a week or less.

Have you thought about doing anything for the corners? and can we see pics in the daylight without the lights on. Thanks!

Only thing i can think of doing for the corners, is a clear bulb... got any suggestions?

I had intentions on putting some HID's in the fogs, but the HID light wave spectrum is horrible for fog-light use, so i'll just stick with the halogens.

Day light pics w/o lights:

Hi and Low-beam issue is now fixed. the guys over at TRS told me to swap the 2 outer pins in the connector that plugs into the factory headlight connector. Once i did this, the low beams were low, and the hi beams were hi's. All is good
