Recent marketing from Lincoln suggests that, in order to increase sales in younger upwardly-mobile buyers, the truck designers have created a vehicle with a top-of-the-line sound system, presumably to Wow neighbors and friends when throwing tailgate parties: tentatively named the Lincoln "Boom-Boxwood". A scale-version toy for the kiddies has been created in time for Christmas called the "Splinter".

Rumor has it the soft suspension causes the vehicle to float a bit at highway speeds. Maybe they should call it the "Driftwood"

For those of us that believe a truck isn't a truck unless it is a 4x4 or Lightning I think they should call it the Linclon Softwood for those pretty boys that want to buy them.

BTW the 300 hp Navigator eng was wicked dad traded his in on a Excursion and I took the Nav back. On the way back I tromped on it (in the summer) and smoked the tires from one stop light to the next... poor pitty the guy who gets that one we beat on it bad and off roaded it, all in all it held up well.

I heard that they're going to make a version similar to the SuperCrewzer and call it the Licoln Semi-wood. They're also planning on a regular cab version called the Shortwood, a limo version called the Longwood, and a golf cart version that they are going to call the 7wood. I've even heard a rumor that they're going to make one that's completely covered in rhinestones, with a bar inside it and call it the Hollywood.

This is the funnest message board that I have been to in a long time, I have almost cried at this it's so funny. "Griswold Family Truckster"? This is too great...

By the way, I like Dollywood! I'm like 2 hours away from it, and I hit it weekly. They have a new Water Park opening there next month.
