Painting Bed Rail Moulding?
Hi all...well I have started to get very aggrevated with my bed rail caps. They are fading out and in a couple of spots it almost looks like some wax or something got on there, dried, which now looks white, and will not come off. Plus my tailgate cap is pretty scratched/beat up. I looked on tasca and I can replace all 3 for around $120. Which I was about to purchase. Until my wife asked if I can repaint them. I said well...if they were black...no problem. But on our King Ranchs, as we all know, they are tan. As to match the arizona beige on my 2005. I love this accent...so they will stay beige. My question is, Has anyone ever tried getting some Krylon or any other paint for plastic to match the arizona beige? I guess it would be worth a try...because if I order the new ones, my old ones will probably just sit in my shed and be useless/trash. Just curious if anyone has been here and done this. Thanks.
