not new but no longer a Ford owner. .

Hey guys. Been awhile since I've had anything but a Ford but yesterday my slave cylinder decided to start to go again while I was already thinking about trading in.... also felt like the clutch was having issues along with it so my ford is gone. I traded in for a new 14 hemi ram. So I will still be on here because of the people and everything. Thank you all for all your help.

Glad you're sticking around. Hope the new truck is a good one for you. Keep us updated on how you like it. What body and engine?

Hi Timmy.

Congrats! Those are very nice trucks.

Please avoid the urge to install halos on this one, okay?

Best o' luck!

It's a reg cab shortbed 4x4 Express or ST (says both on sticker) with 5.7L and the blackout option (black 20" wheels, black headlight housings with HIDs, sport tail lights (tinted) black ram emblems, and black 4x4 emblem. Also has the hemi badge delete.

This is the ram i got. Pic is from dealersgips site but this is the same truck. I have pics of it in my albums but its taking too long to be able to post them all. It's my profile pic too...did that on accident trying to load pics.
It is a 5.7L V8, 6 spd auto(normal column shifter, not the stupid ****), ESC AND TC, Dual rear exhaust, 3.21LS axle. 395hp, 410tq, looked up 0-60 and 1/4 and it apparently is supposed to be 5.9 to 60 and 14.2@98mph. To put that in perspective my 96 trans am was supposed to be 5.5 and 13.9@101. I am at over 6000 ft so those numbers won't be what I hit but I would guess I hit 60 in 7 seconds or so.

I was told HIDs but you could be right. I don't see HIDs on the window sticker.

So far the only things I don't like are that eco mode is only a very small amount of gas pedal and when it coasts it slows down like my f150 did in 4th gear. So in eco mode it's fighting that quick deceleration. My girlfriend's ram will speed up faster while coasting than my f150 did in neutral down the same hill but this ram actually stays the same speed in drive down that hill. Going 70 at the top my f150 hit 78 and my girlfriend's ram we hit the brakes at 80. My new ram either stays the same or actually slows down a little. Plus when cruise is being used it seems eco mode never happens. I was getting 25+mpgs at 60mph but at 70 I get about 18. still not broken in (250miles) so those could improve. Also when I put a k&n filter and synthetic oil in it might help a bit. Probably do the oil at around 2k and filter sometime this week. Got my scangauge hooked up to see any hp differences from now til k&n and then again at oil change.

Says dual function halogen projectors. So probably not even HIRs. Looks like normal bulbs I guess. They are bright tho lol. But I was wondering if the guy was right because it's still a yellowish tint but not bad. Might get Silverstars or something later on tho.
