Hopefully they honor a replacement piece. Or a replacement system. Or worse case a reimbursement for repair.
I just bought a used stainless steel catback for my Trans Am WS6, the pipe leading over the axle had a nickel sized hole in it for some reason, I assume something punctured it or a hanger was ripped from it. I took the kit down to a local fabrication & welding company and requested a repair for it. The guy fixed it really quick with a piece of stainless steel, and a stainless tig weld job. It looks great and does not stand out at all. It cost me $25.00. I imagine you could do the same, getting the hanger re-welded to it properly. Perhaps Magnaflow could reimburse you the cost if they vote against honoring a replacement tailpipe or catback.
