2000 ford explorer code reading

Does anyone know what this code means P1504?

In English, that's the IAC.

Check the wiring connection to the IAC. It also would be a good time to clean it while you are checking the connection. Do a search on IAC for a lot of great info and pics.

Note that is code indicates an ELECTRICAL fault.

Check the connector as torkum suggested. Measure the resistance of the IAC's coil. Make certain it is not open. Should be between 6 and 12 ohms.
