Help: Remote start won't start

Folks, I'm installing a remote start kit into my 2006 F150 FX4, and I believe I have everything hooked up correctly, but it wont start.

The door lock/unlock works, the parking light flashes when they should, the horn chirps when it should, the tach is sensing properly and is programmed in, I did the PATS programming steps to add the PATS bypass module as a "third key", and I get no parking light flashes that indicate a diagnostic fault of any kind.

When I use the remote start, the parking lights flash once to acknowledge the start signal, the radio goes off for a moment while it should be cranking, then the ignition stays "on" (judging by my instrument panel lights and the HVAC system blowing, etc). Immediately following when I think the remote start should be cranking my starter, the red security light on the dash lights up solid for about 1 second, then goes and stays off, just as if I had used my key to start the truck. As expected, after about 10 seconds the remote kit tries again automatically, but with the same same results, and repeats until I press the brake pedal to deactivate the system.

It literally "feels" like everything is happening as it should except that there is silence from my vehicle's starter.

2006 F150 FX4 with factory keyless entry
Code Alarm 5053 remote start kit
Ford SecuriLock PATS bypass kit 8L3Z-19G365-BA

I have my PATS byposs module powered (red lead) to 12v always on, and the ground (black lead) is connected to the "start status/active output (-)" connection off the remote start module, which is supposed to go ground when the remote start is trying to start the vehicle.

A copy of my wiring connections can be viewed here: http://1drv.ms/1pF82sg

When the remote start tries to start, the red security light doesnt flash rapidly or anything, it lights up just the same way as it does when I start the truck with one of my keys. So wouldn't that mean I was able to successfully program the PATS bypass module as a "third key" and the PATS is working fine?

I just can't think of what else I might have missed....? Anyone have any thoughts?

It sounds like PATS is happy but you are not getting the START(+) signal to do any work.

Where is the START(+) wire connected? Have you put a meter or test lamp on that output from the Code Alarm to check if you're getting that output?

Are there any fuses in the RED and RED/WHITE wires on the 6-pin harness?

Are BOTH of the RED and RED/WHITE wires on the 6-pin harness connected to the vehicle's ALWAYS HOT power circuit?

Are BOTH of the PINK and PINK/WHITE wires on the 6-pin harness connected to the vehicle's HOT IN RUN power circuit?

Duh, that was it. The RED/WHITE wasn't connected to anything, and it needed constant 12v. I thought it was strange that it needed two connections to a 12v source, so I left one off, and forgot I did that.

Wired that one up and it starts up beautifully!

Thanks!

Glad you got it!

One of these days, I need to install the remote starter in my daily driver Conturd. Pulled it out of my old 98 when I scrapped out that one but haven;t gotten to this half of the project with the new DD.
