Canned tune, eh? Wait 'till ye run the custom ones.
BTW - I woulda chose a 93 Tow instead - it's the mode in which you want as much grunt as possible. You can always fall back to the STOCK tune for 87 towing - or the canned tow tune (yer device will hold all the canned and custom concurrently) - if you run into a 93 octane availability issue.
Or, simply purchase an extra tune - they ain't all that expensive. Shoot - them fellers is so nice, they may even throw one in fer free.
On the shifts - go with 'Street'. Amazing. If'n ye don't like it, it's just a phone call/email away from being adjusted.
Ask 'em to unlock all end-user adjustments - fer some reason they dint fer me - but I haven't pushed it - yet . That way, ye kin adjust yer shift firmness yeseff.

I filled up with 93 octane today and programmed the 93 performance tune. Wow is all I can say. My truck is a different animal. Thinking about changing my 87 tow to a 93 tow tune. The instantaneous throttle response is awesome. I haven't dealt with many tuners but MPT seems to have their stuff together.
