Regear and programming

I'm about to have 4.10s installed, and 3.55s removed so I'm researching programmers and was going with a gryphon but keep seeing so many others. I'm only really interested in a tow tune and spirited daily driver tune. Is gryphon still a good programmer? And is php still in business. I know at one time they were way behind and someone was sick or something. SSI and xcal were some I hVe seen. Truck is a 05 5.4 4x4

PHP is still open for business http://store.gopowerhungry.com/

Don't know about their customer service and lead times anymore though....

Switched to SCT awhile back

Xcal 4 The latest one

Instead of running a gryphon(my 06) I've used ultra gauge (my 10 STA) and now in my HD I use aeroforce gauges...another choice others use is scan gage

But just getting a programmer is the tip of the ice berg

Running canned tuning is flat silly when fully custom costs no more....

Call 'em - talk to Mike.

So I called the Ford stealership today to see what they would charge and IF they could adjust computer for larger tires and gear ratio change...they can't. Even gave them my VIN.

Just to be clear MPT with sct x4 will correct speedo and odo, on my instrument panel?

I ordered my Sct X4 programmer through MPT. Just waiting on it to get here. Between it and the new gears the truck should move a little more spirited.

Yer gonna love it.

Hopefully ye ordered up a 91+ octane tune as one o' yer choices.

And remember - MPT offers complimentary tune revisions/updates fer up to 6 months. Turnaround is usually 3 bidness days. Great folks!
