Just pick up a buffer and some Meguiars NXT liquid wax. I normally put the wax on my hand but take the majority off with the buffer. I've got a Craftsman professional (12" I beieve) and it definately cuts down my detail time.

Can you buy it, use it, and achieve good results? The answer is yes **BUT** you need to use correct procedures, products, and techniques.

Anyone can plug a machine in and go to town on paint but, if you're not sure what you're doing, you're utilizing incorrect pads/bonnets, or you're using incorrect techniques; a powered machine can spell disaster for any painted surface.

On the flip side of that coin, it can bring tired, worn out, ugly paint to life and make it look new again. Again though, technique, procedures, and products will aid in that result.
