Some Recent Updates I thought I'd share!

Rechroming those is not worth it. I have a set as well and enjoy them. Chrome is in good shape, 1 small bubble here and there but no peeling yet. 3rd owner of them tho and I've had them about 5 years and babied them. Rechroming costs more than rebuying a brand new set...already looked into it in the past.
For locking lugs (I use these as well) buy the McGard ones off Amazon. Chromed and around $50-60 bucks. I actually put my wheels and caliper covers back on yesterday since we should be done with snow and got compliments again

Thanks for the input. I think that I'll just attempt at peel/sand/dip and see how that goes. Who knows maybe I'll find someone who can teach me how to do it (sand blasting) and I can just pay for materials or something?
As for the lugs, I'm looking at those right now. So thank you. But what about the other lugs - did you use the Roush ones, or something else?

I like having the funds to work on my truck, this is a nice change of pace.
Anyway I bought some "used" tires today. If they are used at all, it's not much - they look brand new to me. All for for $280, and they (according to the internet) go for $130 each new.
275/40R20: The lower sidewall should help keep from rubbing, and bring the nose down a little more.
At this point I just need to refinish the wheels, buy the new lugs and get them mounted and balanced.
I feel like I'm going to go drifting with this stack..

I am in my final semester before I complete my undergrad (I have about a week left) and today my brain is just fried. I am so ready to start working on the truck.. As I can't just yet, hanging out on the forums may be the best alternative.

I am trying to resist the temptation until I get the new wheels on, but I am already wanting to go lower. I have the ground force 3/5 drop with springs and leafs now. I'm not asking to lay frame on static, but another inch or two would be awesome. I've been reading through the street scene forum and going back to my brain is mush today, I am lost. Anyone have any ideas?
Also digging through old photos and found one of my Beetle. Best $300 I've ever spent. ...still miss that car.

I'm still planning on doing the silver plasti-dip on them. I had planned to have it already done by now, but my other project decided it wanted attention.
I found a suspension setup for a really good price for my Camry, so that was purchased and installed - taking a bit of time and money. As strange of a car as it is, I really like it. I have emotional attachment, but as it's so broken I'm not afraid to break it more to learn on it (like I am with the truck).

They are. The low beams are HID's with Projectors and the whole car has been swapped to LED's (on the exterior at least). While I love it and my truck for different reasons, it provides a place to learn. I do a mod, figure it out - see if I like it, then try to replicate it on the truck with that gained knowledge. It wasn't planned that way, but it's been nice.
