My BC Automotive (Darrin Burch) built tranny was delivered Friday and I got the Circle D torque converter and the Troyer triple hat fuel kit the week before. Decided to go with a Kenne Bell S/C over the TVS. Got it ordered today and will be here the first of next week. Everything is being delivered to the shop, so I don't have any pics to post up yet. Once the install starts, everything will be extensively documented and photographed. Baring any huge, unforseen problems, I should be driving it about 3 weeks from today.

In about two weeks, all the stuff taken off the truck will be officially for sale. So, anybody wanting anything, let me know. Factorytech Monsterbox tranny, Precision Industries TQ Converter, 5.4 3V w/Whipple 10lb kit, and a whole bunch of stuff of the GT500 motor too. (i.e. two sets of 52lb injectors, two complete Eaton blowers)

2 questions, why you going away from PI TQ Converter?

And that 10lb kit did you get a 10PSI tune from whipple?

I got the PI converter when I bought the Monsterbox. I greatly miscalculated the size and found out real quick it would not work for what I use my truck for. So, I put the FactoryTech converter on and all is good. Don't get me wrong, the PI converter would be great for a lot of applications, especially ones that don't need to tow, just not for me.

If I did get a tune from Whipple, I don't remember. Except for when the blower was installed, all my tunes have been custom.

Shame on you mcdover. I should be driving a new (to me) 07 supercab sometime next week and my plan was to whipple it after the warranty expired. But now, I've got gt500 on the brain. Woe is me.

All the parts I needed to get started are now in, so I dropped off my truck yesterday. Now the fun begins!

Good luck with the transformation. Look forward to seeing pix of it. Now to hijack your thread...Where did you get your headers and 3" true Dual exhaust from? I've been trying to find a true dual exhaust system for some time now to no avail. In addition, I may take your "old" setup off your hands when you are ready to sell it. PM me a price on it and lets see what we can work out.

Thanks
Todd

I don't remember where the headers came from, lots and lots of parts have been bought and sold over the last 3 years. The exhuast is a Magnaflow custom kit I bought from a local performance exhaust shop. They pieced it all together and welded it up. Of course, everything from the headers back will be staying on the truck.

I'll be posting up parts for sale in the classified section once they become available to ship. Nothing I hate worse than somebody to say something is for sale but not available until X date. To me, then it's not really for sale yet. I'm getting a LOT of interest in some of my old stuff already, and I don't really have anything for sale YET. I'll post up when I start listing stuff in the classifieds.

Trans should bolt up I believe without issue, I dunno if starter will be ok or if the oil pan will either. That troyer Tripple fuel kit looks SEXY! I hope to own one soon! Should be pretty sweet when its done!
