Just read your thread, and I was wondering how your truck is doing? Any major problems or issues? Or still running like a champ?

E-fans failed. Truck overheated and front tranny seal failed. Luckily, I caught it in time, so no damage. Getting new fans and the front seal replaced today. Other than that, no problems.

There are three different color seals for these transmissions (for the 4R100, don't know what you have), Blue, Grey and Black. The Black seal is a must have.

I"m not proud of it but I overheated mine (4V also) so badly that when I finally got to where I could get water, I sprayed the front of the radiator to cool it off and the water exploded into steam, the temp gauge had been all the way up for probably 10 minutes. I have a Black seal in mine and this caused no tranny leakage issues, nor engine issues, much to my surprise.

My 2 pennies

1. I hate you
2. I am green with envy
3. I need to go change my pants

Every time you press the go pedal your face gets a little flatter i bet. What do you take to ease the pain from the constant grinning you do when you drive that bad boy?!

Congrats on a job well done sir.

And I still hate you...in that way that makes me want to drive my truck into oncoming traffic.....because yours is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than mine lol
