I'm in the process of a build. However I'm doing it all myself instead of paying someone else to work on the motor. From what I have seen, 4v conversion and a GT500 conversion would be a PITA and not worth it.

Hell, I paid 500 for a block and heads. To do it the RIGHT way, it takes time. The machine shop I'm building it at (my buddy owns) has many many cars that make far more power then I ever could. However I will over build my motor just like theres. Out of the 6 302s that push 550+ HP only one has had a problem and that was a defect in a spring. I could go on forever about the motors he turns out.

Anyway, not that I dont trust the guys who build long blocks, but do research before you purchase, and know exactly what your getting. I've seen a ton of blocks built by "good" engine builders, and most of them cut corners and dont put in the time to do it right.
