New Box Build, Among Other things!
New Box Build, Among Other things!
So i finally got off my lazy Butt, and started my box. The Box will be a seal enclosure i'm shooting for 2.5-2.8 cubic feet. It will be for two JL Audio W6's. The box will be partial MDF and Fiberglass, i still have to decide where im going to pick up my fiberglass supplies.
Along with the build i will be upgrading my amp to a 1500 RMS, not sure what brand/Manufacture yet. And i will be throwing in some Deadening..

Update
So i had ran into a few issues here and there but i am sorting them out as i go.. The W6's fit but not much room for Xmax in the rear when the seat is down. But that doesn't bother me, being that every time i play the subs loud i always have my rear seats up...
But here are more progress pictures.....

(this passenger side is still being mocked up)

All i have to say is i hate that bracket with a passion that supports the passenger side seat...

Make sure you are adding plenty of bracing.
Mix the glass with 2-3% MEK amount. If more you will make a VERY hot mix and run the risk of the glass shattering under any loads. If less, enjoy waiting...
If you have any more questions HOLLA!
