for that deep AND loud sound, you can just put a muffler on and dump it. i have a 14" magnaflow dumped right under the front of the bed and it sounds good. total cost was like $80 for muffler+turndown+extra clamp

putting on was an adventure to get the old one off. if you have a reciprocating saw, then this makes it very easy.

i had an angle grinder with a cut-off wheel but i still got it done. it took me an hour and a half to get the old one off just because i made a couple unnecessary cuts. i cut off the rusted clamp before the muffler but the pipes were rusted together so i just ended up cutting the head pipe. i also had to finish a couple of the cuts off with the hacksaw because i didnt haven enough room to operate the grinder.

putting the muffler and turndown on took about 30 seconds. then i spent about 5 minutes making sure the clamps were as tight as possible. i did end up taking it to a shop and have them put a hanger on it.
