I lifted my 2wd 1995 Chevy Tahoe back in 1998. Back then, the only manufacturer that made lift components for a 2wd Tahoe was a new, fledgling company out of Southern California called FabTech Motorsports. Although FabTech no longer has the specs or parts listed for this lift, I remember it was accomplished with larger springs, spindle and I also purchased their after market UCA for improved geometry. New Upper Control Arm..these allowed better geometry and alignment of the front end. See where the UCA connects to the frame via the ears? Those ears began to tear away from the frame after 5 years of oversized tires. I had them rewelded but after this, I swore I would never lift a 2wd GM again.

w/ 33's on 33x16s. Noticed I added tow hooks as the 2wds did not come with them. Also notice the white corner lenses. The grille insert from Street Scene was new to the market at the time so no one had them near me. It looked unique to say the least, and reminded me to shave every morning.
