Exploring old mining roads in Colorado. It was a 'Truck'. Nothing fancy, nothing automatic, leave it stock, let it live. XL pkg, 5.0 Ltr w/ shorty headers, Elct Fans, K&N. 4spd manual. No lift - just removed the rear sway-bar for axle artcltn. Open Diffs, skid plates and 31x10.5 R15 Tires.

Good Old Truck, helping me keep warm in Alaska.
Recently sold it to a teenager. I'm sure he has grand plans for it. I bought myself a new 07 XLT, and I have grand plans for it, too.
Still, after 18 years and 280k miles, I'm gonna miss her.

The MRAPs. These are the MAXPROs, built by IH. Pretty good rigs, but very heavy... too heavy.

Having a little 4x4 Joy Ride in 'Ivan the Wass', a Russian built Iraqi Army Jeep. 'Ivan' is a Vet. He even has a bullet hole in his hood. Not a bad little rig. Fun to drive.

The Other F-150
This is our '08 XLT 'FOB Runner', just used for Admin stuff around the base. A Good Rig, but she gets abused. She got some love recently with a new set of 265 AT tires to get us around the mud a little better - and fewer flat tires.

KC was my Daily Driver through High School in the '80s and while in Texas for my first career job during the early '90s. She is currently waiting in the barn for my Son to become her 4th Generation Driver. There is a Resto Plan in her future, but she will remain mostly Stock to be a practical Work Truck.

KC getting Firewood in LaGrande, Oregon. She was, is, and always will be a true 'Work Truck'. She as a couple AALs in the rear for just this reason. I made a lot of Beer Money back in the day hauling firewood. Now I do it just to keep myself warm.

Frontiersman's First Truck, 'Casey' (OK - it ain't a Ford, but I'll never badmouth her). Third generation driver of a '53 model 3100. 235 CI (slightly bored), but otherwise almost completely stock - and going to stay that way.

A good 'First Truck' for a new Driver... and I don't have to let her drive My F-150 :-)

Rotating the Snow Tires and inspecting the Brakes.
Can do this all by herself. No girly-girl here. Makes a Daddy proud.
