Just driving in the city, I suddenly noticed that my brake pedal had gotten hard to press and that I wasn't slowing down very fast! Got out this morning and looked first thing at the vacuum canister on the master cylinder and sure 'nuff there was a vacuum line completely gone. I mean the rubber tubing had been ripper apart the stump was a jagged end clearly not cut. You can see that there was barely enough left to put in a 1/4-20 bolt just a few threads which cleared up the problem.
