best tire for 16x7 wheel on 4x4 expy

I have 255/70-16 on my expy's 16x7 rim. I am scheduling a time later today to get new tires. What's the next best size without having to lift? My Expedition is a 2000 4x4 XLT.

I was thinking 265/70, 265/75 or 285/75 (not recommended by BFG).

Thanks in advance.

Erik

i'm with sagitarius on this one Michelin LTX A/T LT265/75R16 ... i have the A/T's and for an aggressive tire they are both smooth and very good in the snow

mville, i'd like to but BFG recommends minimum of 7.5" width wheel and the stock OE wheel is 7". That means uneven wear in the middle of the tires.

I really want to fill the wheelwell too!!
