Exclamation HELP!!...Procomp MT or AT (33/12.5/17)???

All right, the time is here and I need to make up my mind. I have debated, talked, and posted about this for a while. I have my next set of tires down to two choices due to 4wheelparts buy 3 get one tire free deal. For the price, I cant beat buying the Procomp 33/12.5/17 for my truck. They will be replacing the stock 265/70/17. With in 6 months I will be istalling a PA 3" body lift and eventually (a year later) buying new 16" rims and 315/75/16 BFG mud t/a KM (for the summer basically for the looks).

I will be using these new tires from now (winter of 2002 to spring of 2004) till I get my summer rims/tires. I need to know what tires I should choose...the Procomp MT's or AT's???

There is a $100 difference between the two and I am willing to pay for it just for the rugged look of the MT's. I would choose the AT's if they will be ALOT better in the snow because they are cheaper, but they dont look as good (in pics) as BFG's AT KO's

So anyone with experience with both?? Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated cause I need to make my mind up soon (before the special ends...right now there is even free shipping!!!)

Exclamation

if you want some larger tires, go with the goodyear wrangler mt/r in 305/70r17... they fit without a lift kit and no rubbing... have them on my 2002 screw and love em... they are 34 inches tall....looks pretty badass

Marcscrew...nice to see someone else from Maine on here! I think it is a first from me Where are you located??

The Procomp 33/12.5/17 is the same size tire (pretty much) as the 305/70/17. Got any pics of the MTR's?? I considered them but I will end up buying a the Procomps for the stock 17 inchers and then new 16" rims/tires in a year or so. Plus, the Procomps will be at least $200 cheaper With Christmas and snowmobile season coming up fast, extra cash will disappear quick!

Got any Ford friends to join the board, then we may be able to start a Maine chapter of F150online

I just wanted to echo marcscrew's comments about the looks of the GY MTRs. I saw them last week on a '03 F250, and they looked tough! Don't know anything about how they ride or anything, but they looked great.
