Tire Rotation

how often do you normally rotate your tires? And just hopefully, some people with F1's will chime in, but you know how that goes.

I have a matching wheel/rim on the spare. Every 5000 mile a 5 tire rotation with a Front to back cross. Left front goes to the spare, spare to right rear.

the easiest way to remember is every other oil change. rotate any way you like. crossover or just front to back as long as you rotate!

with the F1's, I think I can only take the back ones and put on front and the front ones on back and cant cross them or anything. (unless I take them and remount on the wheels)

PhillipSVT - I know this post is a little late but you are correct about the tire rotation pattern. Our F1's only go front to back, no crossover. There are arrows on the tires showing the rotation direction. I just bought an extra tire & rim to keep as a spare. Only problem is I can't mount it because of the directional thing. Still better to have the tire then have to wait if I get a flat that can't be fixed. Especially since we take the truck to Florida!!! I rotate tires every 6000 miles.

I rotate mine about every 7,500 miles. I use the 4 tire rotation because my spare wheel is the ugly one from Ford. So right front goes to left rear. Left front goes to right rear. Left rear to left front and right rear to right front. That's the way they have it diagramed in the manual, even though the guys at Sam's Club said they never heard of this rotation.
