Question Factory size

This might be a stupied question, but I'm not sure what the size is. What is the width of a factory size, 17" wheel. Will a 17x9 wheel fit with out rubbing, with a set of 285/70R17 BF MT on. The truck is stock height.

Has anyone heard that Ford is offering a 5.4 5speed in the F150.

First off I wanted to say welcome to the site...

I believe the factory 17" rims are 17x8 so the 17x9 won't be a problem.

285's shouldn't be a problem either there is a slight chance you may have to crank the torsion bars a little but I doubt it.....

And I don't believe ford offers the 5.4 with a 5 speed in the F150 at this time...

The stock tire size is 265/70-17 with the factory 17-7.5 rims. You can also put 275/70-17 and 285/70-17 on a stock 4x4 F150
